Nata a Tokyo, Giappone il 19 aprile 1980, Akiko ha conseguito il B.A. in Relazioni Internazionale/Economia presso la Saint Joseph's University (Filadelfia, USA). Si è trasferita a Firenze per completare lo studio dell'Italiano (certificazione DALI C1). Ha iniziato la carriera nel settore della moda e, dopo aver accumulato esperienze all'estero per 10 anni, è tornata nella Paese di origine nel 2010. Da quel momento lavora come traduttrice e interprete libero professionista addetta 'multi-funzione'. Ha vissuto dal 2017 al 2019 a Lione dove ha ottenuto il certificato C1 in lingua francese da l'Université Catholique de Lyon. Dal 2019. Abita stabilmente a Roma.
Akiko E. Masuda
Born in Tokyo, Japan on April 19th 1980, Akiko obtained B.A. degree in International Relaltions/Economics at Saint Joseph's Univerity (PA, USA). She moved to Florence, Italy to complete her study of Italian approved by DALI C1. Followed by her carrier in fashion industry and earned numerous experiences abroad for a decade, she moved back to the home country in 2010 - she is acting as a freelance "all-rounder" interpreter/translator. From 2017 to 2019, she lived in Lyon, France, where she has obtained her diploma C1 in French language at l'Université Catholique de Lyon. Currently she lives in Rome, Italy.

1980年4月19日、東京都生まれ。高校卒業後、思い立ってアメリカ・フィラデルフィアに渡りSaint Joseph's Univerisityで国際関係学/経済学を学ぶ。無事にB.A.（学士号）を…と思いきや、次はなぜかイタリア・フィレンツェに移住。イタリア語を習得しDALI C1に合格、続いてまさかの現地採用で就職、ファッション業界で経験を積む。2大陸での海外生活はトータル10年、2010年に日本帰国後「いろいろやれる」フリーランス通訳・翻訳者としてマルチに活動を始める。2017～2019年は懲りずにフランス・リヨンで学業に励み、l'Université Catholique de Lyonでフランス語 C1のディプロマを取得。現在、イタリア・ローマ在住。
